Keeping in mind the growing trend towards leading healthy and fit lifestyles in-part due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a new gym and spa was officially opened here in Dimapur on September 3 at Duncan Basti by MLA & Advisor, Department of Power, H Tovihoto Ayemi.
Dubbed, the Fit Factory (TFF), the Advisor observed the need to remain fit and healthy owing to the changing lifestyles.
He noted that setting up of gyms were a way of contributing towards the Fit India Movement. “Today having this kind of amenities and facilities, people should be more involved in physical fitness,” he said.
Further mentioning, one of the indirect consequences of COVID-19 was in promoting fitness among the masses, he also acknowledged that TFF adds beauty to the components of Dimapur.
Zain, proprietor of TFF, stated the gym brings you the best of facilities with luxurious facilities and modern equipments including a spa. This is the first of its kind in Nagaland. “Initially, we faced a few challenges like sourcing our life provisions, getting the right man-power and the right location but at the end it was all worth it.”
With regard to the facilities provided at the gym and spa, he explained the availability of an in-house cafeteria which provides planned meals for its members along with spacious rooms and multiple equipments. The gym has a total of 5 trainers and an accommodation space for up to 100 individuals at a time.
“We have a pre-launch offer which is Rs 10,000 for one year without any admission fees available for the first 3-4 days. Prices for the spa will be set separately.”
Timing will be from 5:30 AM to 9:00 PM.
